Water changes without back pain.

I came up with an idea to do w/c's in my apartment without lugging around 6 culligan bottels to the bathtube, into the storage then back into the tank which took allot of time and energy seeing as how I'm doing it every day.I bought a 25' clear hose with a pithon valve for the sink $75 (kind of a ripoff for the hose).I first suck up debrise in my tank and remove 25 gallons of water which I have marked on the side of the tank so it is an accurate amount, then i plug in my submersible water pump (600gph non-oil filled sump pump $105) It is pumping my water I have aged in my storage room and goes through a 50' hose to my tank.I was a littel worried it wouldn't pump that far but it pumps the 30 gallons in 10 min ,not to shabby!.In my water barrel I have the lid cut out for the cables for the pump, garden hose,300w titanium heater with external stat controller($54) and air line tubing with 48" flexible bubbler that is soon going to be replaced with a power head.I think the whole system is fairly easy to store and to operate plus the barrel is a good place to mix dry ferts to save you money on you're planted tank.
